My mother was Marietta Matics, a Hungarian born ceramic artist and painter.
Marietta lived and exhibited her art in Pretoria and Cape Town, South
Africa.
Her artworks are held in private collections worldwide.

The majority of Matics art was sold during her lifetime and is held in private collections.
A beautiful coffee table book of her artworks is in the works and a retrospective exhibition of selected Matics Art is being planned in Cape Town, South Africa. It will also feature aspects of Marietta's life and the intention will be to establish a permanent installation available for viewing by appointment. Some artworks will be available for sale.
