Beach house art ♡

Our beach house needed more art.  More colour, more fun.  Enter evolving art.

BEACH BABE

Same same, but different.  My large scale oil painting of BEACH BABE now joins us in the living room, with the lagoon and Hermanus mountains as her background and backdrop.

The other side of the lounge already has my large blue SEASPRITE abstract, which is now balanced out with another blue abstract:

SEAWEEDS

These are four smaller paintings that I created for our guest bedroom downstairs:

BIRTHDAY BOUQUET

 ROSETTES

HAPPINESS 101

WISH UPON A JAR

Our entry with double volume staircase got a shot of

HOLIDAY LOVE

with this upgraded colourful installation.

Prints of all these paintings are available.

Art makes a home ♡

Art makes a home.  After all, what is a room without art (or plants)?

I created several new artworks to stage 2 homes recently.  The aim was to inject some light, bright contemporary personality to the living areas of a traditional cottage and small Mews apartment.

EMERALD GINGER DIPTYCH

This paired well with another abstract, which can be hung landscape or portrait.

LIFE AFTER 35

This complimentary abstract was used in the dining area:

VERDANT

I also included some (evolving) florals that I painted.

RAMBLING ROSES

  REGENCY MEMORIES

Love art that works well in various settings.  Here are these pieces at their second staging location:

In this bedroom I added an abstract that I made in 2000:

KISS KISS

These paintings are available to purchase, and I accept commissions.
A post on the new paintings that I made for our holiday home will follow soon.
